Is there in Florida an alternative to Puerto Escondido, Mexico for a mid-winter vacation?
Every February since 1985 we vacationed in Mexico. In the late-90s, costs started rising and airline connections became increasingly difficult. In 2001, we were short on time, prices were high, and transportation connections required overnight stays both ways. We decided it was time to try someplace different. So we tried Florida.
