Is there Homework in Computer Applications or Keyboarding?
“Is there homework in this class?” is a commonly asked question from students as well as parents. THE ANSWER IS: NO. Because students will be using their network account to gain access to the school network, 99 percent of all assignments will be completed in class. If extra time is needed to complete assignments students have the option of getting a pass to computer lab during studyhall and of course, before and afterschool is always available. Computer Applications Students will be given a number of opportunities to enhance their skills using the software Microsoft Office 2007. 6th Grade Keyboarding Students will be learning to keyboard using the “touch-typing” method. Learning to keyboard correctly is critical for students! We will be using the software, Typing Time.
