Yeah sure. You just have to go by the codes, if your city has them. I live in a rural area and we don’t have many building codes to deal with. There are lots of things you could do. -dig ditches for water and sewer lines -footings for concrete foundations and slabs -basements -ponds -drainage ditches -graves -holes for septic tanks There are lots of things you can do, just make sure you follow the codes if you have them. If there is anyone else in your area that does this kind of work, don’t let it discourage you because that means that there is a need for it. Charge by the hour, and make sure you charge enough to pay for the fuel, and labor. Also get in good with a contractor who can sub-contract the dirt work to you, you would probably get more work that way. Hope this helps.
