Is there going to be Terminator 4 Extended Edition?
It’s possible that they will make an extended cut for T4, but I can’t guarantee they will. It’s possible they will have a seamless branching version which will enable the viewer to watch either cut of the movie. A seamless branching version is an almost guarantee to a two disc set, as well. Either way, expect it or them (sometimes they make two separate editions) to see it released in the next 30-60 days, in time for the holiday buying season in the USA, although it’s not going to be released until the 31st of December in Germany, which is the only official date of release as of today. Keep checking back on the Terminator Salvation site on IMDB and you should be able to find out how many versions of the film will be released and which day it will come out, too.
