The Futon Critic, which keeps track of these things, still doesn’t list it as officially renewed, but this article says that it has been: “(white) Rapper Show” Picked Up for 2nd Season, MC Serch Roasted In BK Friday – May 11, 2007 by Janeé Bolden MC Serch “(white) Rapper Show” host and former 3rd Bass member MC Serch was the guest of honor at a roast held by the ego trip collective last night to celebrate his 40th birthday. It was also announced that the show has been renewed for a second season. Writer and artist Sacha Jenkins of ego trip, served as host for MC Serch’s roast, held at Brooklyn venue Southpaw. Over the course of the evening, friends and family including former group member Prime Minister Pete Nice, rapper Dana Dane, Dante Ross (A&R for 3rd Bass, Brand Nubian, KMD, etc), Bill Adler (photographer, former Def Jam publicist), Bobbito Garcia (DJ, author, radio/tv personality) and DJ Eclipse (Non Phixion) all took turns poking fun at the rapper onstage. “(white) Rapper Show”
