Yes, it is confirmed that there will be a fourth installment into the Pirates of the Caribbean series. Disney announced this at the beginning of September during the D23 Expo in Anaheim, Ca. The official title for the new movie is Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. The date set for release is summer of 2011.
