Yes, New Jersey would receive $5.6 million to provide vaccines to thousands of underinsured children. The vaccines would be distributed through the federally funded Vaccine For Children (VFC) program using a new formula that is specific to stimulus funds. More than 1,100 New Jersey physicians, local health departments and community health centers participate in the VFC program.
