Is there funding available to help pay for the cost of testing?
Generally, this is the cost of doing business and development of a commercial product, process or equipment. The company may be eligible for financial support from any one or a number of municipal, provincial or federal programs that support R&D efforts where testing is a part of a project. OCETA and ETV Canada are participating with a few funding programs, such as NRC-IRAP Ontario Region, the Ontario Research Commercialization Program (ORCP) and the Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation, MaRS-BMEP (Business Mentorship and Entrepreneurship Program) to provide modest funding on a case-by-case basis, for all verification-related activities conducted by SME clients.
