Is there enough water to sustain two golf courses, the Wilderness Area and Housing?
• Waterberg comprises of 6,300Ha and falls into four different underground aquifer areas. The recharge from those various aquifers provides sufficient sustainable water resources to irrigate and maintain all of the facilities on the development. • The DWAF license application has required an array of geohydrological studies and reports which indicate that there is more than sufficient sustainable ground water available to irrigate all of the properties and amenities and to provide the additional water that is required by the Elements Golf Course. • The Department of Water and Forestry (DWAF) has issued the development with general authorisations, copies of which may be viewed online at www.waterberg.com • The final water use licenses are expected during 2012.
