Is there enough pressure to wash a car or run an in-ground irrigation system?

Yes, all larger rainwater harvesting systems are designed to supply water pressure equal to or greater than municipal water pressures providing excellent water pressure for washing your car, cleaning the patio, power washing the house or irrigating the lawn. Rain barrels alone do not provide enough pressure to wash the car or run an in-ground irrigation system. We can provide an inexpensive drip irrigation or soaker hose irrigation system supplied by rain barrel water. You will be amazed how much a rain barrel can do without a powered pump. We do offer pitcher pumps on our rain barrels as an optional installation feature. The pitcher pumps are functional and offer an aesthetic feature to the rain barrel.
