Is There Employment Discrimination Against Baby Boomers?
Although we all hope the national economic recovery plan quickly takes hold, unemployment statistics remain discouraging, and the prospect of a rapid and full recovery appears distant. Baby boomers are particularly vulnerable during tough economic times. When there are employee cutbacks, all too often it is older worker who is the unlucky one. Younger workers remain unaffected, sometimes for no other reason then they make less money. Since the vast majority of baby boomers remain in the workforce, we wanted to get a sense of how many of you may have been impacted—or think they may been a victim of age discrimination.
