Disc Inspector is a program that tests the CD-R drive. Use the floppy diskette that came with your drive for DOS driver installation and drive testing. Disc Inspector (DICDR.EXE) must run from DOS, not DOS Windows. Be sure to reboot the system to DOS before proceeding. 1. If running Windows 95, restart the computer in MS-DOS mode. Select “Start”, select “Shut Down…” and select “Restart the computer in MS-DOS mode”. 2. Insert the supplied installation disk into drive A (or B). Be sure the write protect notch is in WRITE ENABLED (CLOSED) position. Disc Inspector will write a log file to the current logged directory. You may copy all files from the installation disk to your hard disk subdirectory, such as C:\DICDR, so that Disc Inspector is available for future use. 3. From the DOS prompt, type A: (or B:) and press ENTER. 4. Type DICDR and
