We don’t have Independence day here, we have Australia day. Its pretty big and people love it cause its a day off so we can have a barbie and kick a footy in the back:) also, lots of pubs have specials, so a good excuse to drink up for the night and sleep in instead of going to work. Australia Day, also known as Anniversary Day and Foundation Day, is the official national day of Australia.
