Is there anywhere quiet to walk in high season?
Avoid the coast and enjoy the many quiet pleasures of inland Brittany. The Argoat of western Ctes dArmor, the woodland of the Trieux valley and the wild tracks of the Monts dArre in Finistere would be good choices. You do not have to go far from the tourist spots to find yourself alone – at Huelgoat, for example, avoid the famous Chaos and cross the D769 into the peace of the forest around the old mining area.
