Is there anywhere i can get free BMD and census records before 1881?
No there is only the one UK census that is free, there is this site http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/ for the bmd records but I don’t think they are complete. If you are prepared to pay a little there is www.ancestry.co.uk they are now doing pay per view. I have membership to ancestry.com /.co.uk and I would be happy to look some information up for you.
