yes there is a way my wife uses it as she has an intrauterine loop for birth control her periods are 1 week long when she started using the following combination she started to have 3 day periods with no ill effects for a long time from the second day of the period start using aminocaproic acid tablets twice daily mefenemic acid(ponstan) capsules twice daily after meals it works wonders and you will be using it 2-3 days a month so there are no cumilative side effects
