Is there anyway of deleting the old email address out of the address book/contacts list?
Answer Hi Andrew, this is a common problem. A couple of thoughts… One when the autofill list comes up use the arrow keys to scroll down to the old address and hit the delete key. If this doesn’t solve the problem, create a temporary contact with the old email address and then delete this contact (that almost always works). Of course, be sure that the old email address is not present anywhere in the real contact, check under email 2 or other, etc. Also, one more… as the autofil fills in hit the delete key and let the name just sit there – a green wavy line should appear under the name – right clicking will give you options as to which you want to use. Select the correct one. After using the correct email Outlook “usually” remembers the last email you used and will continue to use it. Either one or a combination will hopefully do it. My preference would be to create the temporary contact with the old email address and then delete it. These are just a few of my thoughts, I am not able
