Is there anyway I can avoid paying unpaid parking tickets when renewing my tabs?
There are consequences in this world my friend. In your case, the consequence of not paying attention when parking is a ticket, which leads to fines, which leads to suspension of registration priviledges. You can’t go to work without your car, but you don’t have a job, so that doesn’t matter. It gives you the opportunity, and the incentive to find a job within walking distance of home, or on a bus route. Those are legal alternatives. By the way, I have lived in several cities, and in over 40 years of driving haven’t managed $800 worth of parking tickets, as a matter of fact, I had one in 1969, and another one in 1985, grand total of maybe $20.
