Is there anything wrong with being confident?

Not with being confident, now there is something wrong with being cocky (arrogant) and when someone gets cocky with me that is when i have to put them in their place

No, but you’re not confident. If you were, you wouldn’t need to scream “I am confident” from the rooftops. You wouldn’t have to keep telling yourself you are. You would just be and people would know it without you having to say a thing. A person with a healthy confidence level does not think he or she is better than everybody else. He or she does not think he or she is the best thing that ever graced the planet. That’s arrogance, not confidence. There is a huge difference.
