Is there anything to do at uni besides Med?
Of course! Besides all things Med-related (see above), there is plenty to do at uni. There are over 100 clubs and societies at UNSW, catering for a huge variety of different interests. There are also over 30 sports clubs associated with the uni, as well as the services offered by the UNSW Lifestyle Centre (the University gym). If you are interested in getting on stage, the annual Medical Revue is a good way to get started – almost all rehearsals and the show itself are in your (non-assessible) Foundations term, making it the perfect opportunity to get involved. The Arc (UNSW’s main student organisation) also offers a number of volunteer programs, and has regular social events at the UniBar at the Roundhouse.
