Is there anything that Kevin Smith Photography really discourages as far as clothes go?
A family wearing all white is a good look but can be distracting. All of the white really draws the focus away from your smiling faces. Mixing white in makes for fresh looking photos just make sure not to overdo it! Distracting patterns, clothes with writing on them, big clunky shoes, or hats that hide your face should also be avoided. Our main focus is capturing your face and anything that takes away from that should be avoided. Make sure not to overdress. Stuffy clothes that make kids uncomfortable, dressing too dressy, and having to many accessories can make children ornery and uncooperative when it comes to photos. Need more ideas?
