Is there anything incoming students can do to increase their chances of receiving scholarship assistance?
No. Again, the content of the application for admission is what we use [to determine scholarship]. So it’s just a matter putting together the strongest application for admission that you can. Obviously, everybody who gets accepted for admission is already part of an extremely competitive pool, composed 100% of worthy candidates. So the tricky part, then, is to attempt to identify within that extremely impressive company. When deciding who to give scholarship to, we look at applicants’ purely numerical data, like their GMAT scores and GPA. But because we try to take a holistic approach, the nonquantitative aspects help as well. You increase your odds of admission and scholarship by writing more revealing and personable essays and submitting illustrative recommendations.
