If you are referring to drugs, then yes. The FDA has approved two drugs (one for over-the-counter use like ingredients found in Rogaine and another only for prescription use). Rogaine: Rogaine contains the active drug called minodixil (5% for men, 3% for women). This drug was designed for hypotension but has hair regrowth side effects.
