We saw a small ad in the classifieds….Dalmatian puppy up for adoption at the local dog shelter. They told us that someone had dumped her off on a main street in the next town…unbelievable <:O( Off we went to check her out...one look was all it took...LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. We adopted that little 7 pound bundle of energy right on the spot...and never regretted it for a second. We no sooner got her home...and she climbed up on the kitchen table, sitting there carefully removing the wrappers from mini Reeces Peanutbutter Cups. Admitted...we needed training on 'dogproofing' the house...but we learned quickly <:O) Well, Sparky was a white puppy with black spots, but didn't turn out to be a Dalmatian...more of a Spaniel heritage, I'd guess...not even a Dalmatian face...with one ear that stood straight up with the other flopped down. People must have laughed when I said she was a Dalmatian...LOL She fit into the family and lifestyle like a hand into a glove...like it was 'meant to be' She l
