Most people in India speak English. All phone numbers are in sequential order the area code first indicating the country, the pre fix indicating the area inside the country, and the suffix number which is the address in relationship to the pre fix. Call directory assitance in that pre fix area. If you get an operator that does not speak english ask for one!
