Is There Any Way To Repair The Internet Explorer History Feature?

I learned the hard way about a program that damages the visited website history feature. I was running the program called Windows Washer by Webroot and it has once again eliminated the tracking of websites through the website history. If anyone knows how to get the history feature working again please let me know. I think that program must have deleted something that would make that feature of Internet Explorer work. Now I only get 1 day history period. If anyone has any idea what could have been deleted and if it can be fixed please let me know.
