Is there any way to recover lost work if NetLogo crashes or freezes?

Yes. NetLogo auto-saves files as you are working on them. The auto-save files can be found in your OS-specific temporary directory. On most Unix-like systems (including MacOS) that is /tmp. On Windows XP, logs can be found in C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Temp, where is the logged in user and on Windows Vista the logs can be found in C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp. The files are named according to the following format: autosave_yyyy-MM-dd.HH_mm_ss.nlogo where the time and date are the time and date the model was opened.
