Is there any way to prevent getting sea sickness?
My first cruise on The Royal Carribean Cruise Line didn’t sway at all…it was like being on land….i loved that cruise! Our second cruise on P&O wasn’t that great and the ship swayed the whole time. My mother became sea sick on this cruise and took travel sickness ginger tablets but they didn’t work. The doctor said they don’t work with everyone. Mum went down to the ships doctor to have a nausea needle and within 24 hours she felt much better. Our first cruise ship was large with a gross tonnage of 138,000. The gross tonnage of the P&O cruise was 47,262 …so the lower the tonnage the more the ship will sway. There are a lot of anti nausea tablets/remedies available but if all else fails see the ship doctor if you do become nauseous. I hope you have a great time.
