Possibly. With the game open, press F1 on your keyboard, which opens the Game Properties control. Make sure the Smooth Mode box is unchecked. This may make the game faster but may cause the game to not scroll smoothly, so it’s a trade off. If your system runs the game too slowly, you may well be willing to put up with the lack of smooth scrolling in order to play the game.
