Is there any way to make people go on rides on Roller Coaster Tycoon 1?
I haven’t played the first RCT for years now, but try the following. Close the ride, remove one section of the track and then replace it exactly as it was. The game should now think it’s a new ride. If you check the excitement, nausea and intensity ratings they should be blank. Open the ride WITHOUT testing it first. If you test it and get the ratings people will know it’s too intense for them. If you open it with no ratings some people should try it, blissfully unaware of what they’re in for. Of course, as soon as it’s been round once it will get rated and no one else will want to ride it, but at least you’ll get some poor unsuspecting people to experience your rollercoaster. You could also try changing the operating mode so that the first train won’t leave until it’s half full or something. This way you’ll hopefully get more people riding it on that first circuit. As far as I remember it should work. I hope it helps.
