Is there any way to install a wall register without using screws?
Screwing wall registers into the wall to hold them in place is the most common mounting technique, but it can also be the most troublesome. Drilling is always messy and many wall registers are located in awkward spots on the wall. One of our manufacturers, Wood Ventures, decided to create a simple solution to this problem by designing Spring Clips that attach to a wall registers damper box and wedge the damper box in place. The registers are still easy to remove just pull them out. They wont fall out on their own, though, and you can install them without any drilling. Spring clips are also a great way of turning floor registers into wall registers. Floor registers dont come with mounting holes, so if you have an opening in your wall or ceiling that is smaller than 6″ x 10″, you can use a floor register and some spring clips to accommodate it. There is only one catch: Wood Ventures Spring Clips only work with Wood Ventures Wall Registers. So make sure you buy a Wood Ventures register if
