Is there any way to do both an open casket funeral/ cremation?
You can have an open casket funeral and then be cremated after the service. Keep in mind that whoever is paying for the funeral services will have to pay for the casket, too. Once a body has been in a casket, the funeral home must sell it and cannot take it back. Of course, if you have money set aside for both the casket and cremation, then you don’t even have to worry about that.
