Is there any way in which one can avoid the traffic jams in the monsoon?
Eliminating total traffic jams may not be practical, yet efforts can be made to regulate and minimise the problems. Self Discipline by all the road users, alert traffic cops and wardens, clearing encroachment on the roads, public address systems/FM radios informing and guiding road users, tab on utility services for digging and blocking roads, better water clearance system etc could lead to far better situations on the roads.
