Sorry, no formal way I can think of, short of modifying the code to provide these quantities. However, note that the zero up-cross period for a “well-behaved” acceleration trace, which we (almost) always have in ocean engineering applications, is just “a little smaller” than that of the predominant displacement contribution (e.g., the average of the heave and pitch up-cross periods for a point on the bow or stern). This difference is proportional to the square of the bandwidth of the process (which goes to zero for a purely sinusoidal signal), so it is quite a modest shift for any reasonably narrow-banded process. In most practical circumstances, then, you will not be far off by using the reported displacement-based up-cross period for accelerations and velocities as well. Note that since a typical dimensionless bandwidth (spectral width divided by center frequency) in these applications would likely be 0.2 or less, the correction to the up-cross period would be .04 (4%) or less; that
