A. Yes. At any time, while the engine is running, carefully touch the top of the head next to the heater element. It should be very hot to the touch. This indicates that the heater is working. You can verify the oil flow by observing the oil flow through the flow meter. The TF-8SP has a clear sight hose. As long as the heater is working and the oil is flowing and the pura DYN ® System filter is changed on schedule in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements, or as oil analysis dictates, the pura DYN ® System is continually cleaning your oil.
