Is there any waiting period for Prosthetic coverage upon enrollment?
Yes. Only members who have either retired within the last 90 days (and had coverage while working), or members who have had Cobra coverage expiring within the last 60 days may apply for the 50% or 80% Prosthetic levels of coverage without a waiting period. All members not meeting these requirements must enroll in the basic level of coverage.
