Is there any type of screening process for coaches and volunteers?
Yes. For your child’s safety, All volunteers are now required to complete the LSA Risk Management On-Line form. They will complete a background check on all prospective coaches and other volunteers. LSA has initiated a policy for all Volunteers associated with teams registered with LSA. Forms required to COMPLETE: 1. Our Volunteer – Coach form (For Club Use and records) 2. Code of Conduct Pledge form (For Club use and records) must be completed by all associated with our program. In addition to this, and 3.ON-LINE LSA Risk Management form must be completed for all coaches AND OTHER VOLUNTEERS associated with teams registered with LSA. THIS YEAR we are mandated to register all of our teams, U5 – U19, with LSA. Therefore all volunteers must complete this risk management disclosure form.
