No. For more than 15 years people in the industry thought inkjet would be replaced by other marking methods. The truth is, inkjet was, is, and always will be, the best way to put a date or batch code onto just about any surface. The technology lies not only in the equipment but also in the inks and solvents used. By making these machines more efficient and the inks more user friendly, inkjet will always have a place in the packaging and manufacturing industry.
