Is there any training for students in how to use WebCT?
There is currently no formal training for students in the use of WebCT. WebCT is accessed via a browser, and students generally pick it up fairly quickly without the need for training. Some tools (like the WebCT Assignment tool) may require support from your Course Organiser. In these instances we encourage the inclusion of student support materials in your course handbook. Your WebCT course organiser may contact Information Service’s elearning Team (elearnhelp@ed.ac.uk) for help in sourcing suitable materials.
