Is there any tool for command line client to see the version tree in text form (short!) without seeing entire log?
• For wincvs one is there (button); for jcvs also there must be something. • Eclipse has a graph view (CVS Repository Exploring perspective) • The following command line tool generates image files with branching and tagging information: http://www.akhphd.au.dk/~bertho/cvsgraph/ • I’ve written a script to do this. It’s reasonably quick but currently doesn’t handle branches too well – but does show them. If you want a copy then email me at andrew.fry7@ntlworld.com.
