EEPC version 6.0 includes the architecture to support different forms of hardware encryption, such as various Self-Encrypting Hard Disks and other forms of hardware encryption. While version 6.0 contains the architecture, the plug-ins to deliver the functionality for the management and use of these various hardware encryption devices will be delivered after the release of version 6.0.
