Is there any sort of spray/repellant to keep cats away from a certain area of the house?

I have 4 cats and searched for something that would keep them away and out of my Christmas tree. I tried all the sparays and all they did was leave a weird odor in the air and a bitter taste in my mouth. I did find an item while searching the internet call “Scat Cat”. It is a motion detection spray system. The spray is non toxic and works like a charm. You setup the can with the motion detector and turn it on and any time you or the cat gets near it, the system will beep and then spray a burst of air which will keep the cats away. I have 3 of them since I have such a large tree and the cats DO NOT like it. I found the system off of amazon but you can find it just by searching the internet. I have included the link to Amazon and Petsmart. Hope this helps.
