Is there any solid proof evidence that global warming is happening?
Wow! The level of ignorance of many of the answers here is astonishing. This is the “science” section of Yahoo Answers; but when you read many of these answers, you’d swear that this must be the “crackpot” section. I understand that some of you hate Al Gore, but that doesn’t matter. Gravity affects the solar system and the universe, regardless of your personal opinion of Newton and Einstein. Likewise, greenhouse gases created by humanity will affect the climate, regardless of your opinion of Mr. Gore. I just read an excellent book on the subject — “The Discovery of Global Warming”, by Spencer Weart.
