Is there any Software for Warehouse layout designing?
I was referring a book by Ed Phillips on Lean Warehouse model which was published in late 80s. It have got a table (apart from lot other information), which gives what should be the Aisle space for different MHE being used and what should be the ideal racking structure, MHE and other methods for better inventory management. This is based on a study of US Navy warehouse. In the current time, I understand there are many intelligent software for WH layout designing, where in few inputs are to be given like, MHE, Weight of material, type, volumes etc. Can anybody help me in getting the link for the same.
