Is there any similarity between egyptian pyramids and pyramids bulit in xian china (terracotta warriors)?
There is a similarity in that as far as can be determined they are intended as tombs or eternal resting places for the mortal remains of a ruler and not used as temples and places of rituals and sacrifice like the Mayan and other Meso- American pyramid form constructions. Many of the Xian pyramids have more similarity in actual construction and architecturally with the Mayan pyramids. They both feature flat tops and their masonry is not cut and set in place with the same exact precision and their position is not in almost perfect alignment with the cardinal points,as are the majority of pyramids in Egypt. In regard to the terracotta warriors, nothing like this has been found in any of the Egyptian pyramids.
