Yes. Microsoft has produced some very useful walkthrough documents that serve as very good introductions to MIIS. The walkthrough documents come complete with labs for you to work through. Each step in the labs tends to introduce you to a new feature of the product, providing you with valuable practice before venturing out into your own deployments.
