0

The Department provides a Self Employment Scheme namely ‘KESRU’ for the Unemployed Registrants of the Employment Exchange. All literate candidates within the age group of 21 to 40 years are eligible for the scheme. However in the case of S.C/S.T and Physically Handicapped candidates the upper age limit is 45 years. Annual family income is limited to Rs.24, 000/- and individual income should be below Rs.500/-per month. Students are not eligible for this scheme. The loan amount admissible is between Rs. 30,000/- and may go up to Rs.50, 000/-, depending upon the nature of project. Two or more persons can join together and avail the loan facilities. 20% of the loan amount is given as Government Subsidy.
