Even Boeing and Airbus have experimented with cell phone frequencies and found out that there was no disturbance with navigation, communication or other systems. After the completion of the study, RTCA asserted that there is no reason to ban cell phones in airplanes and that people can use CD players, laptops and other electronic items in-flight.
