Is there any scientific evidence to support the Deeksha phenomenon?
Although new to the Western world, the process of Deeksha has already drawn interest of many highly educated people worldwide. German Ph.D. biochemist Christian Opitz attended the Oneness University and has performed extensive tests to study the neurobiological process that occurs during Deeksha. Utilizing an advanced electromagnetic frequency diagnostic device called KARNAK, he scanned individual’s brains before and after Deekshas. He found that portions of the parietal lobes closed down while areas of the frontal lobe opened allowing the release of Dopamine. Dopamine, the essential neurotransmitter for frontal lobe activity, is necessary for feelings of enchantment with life and bliss, often described to accompany mystical union with God.
