Is there any risk for lactose intolerance or milk protein allergy?
The main and only raw material for AmealPeptide® is milk casein (nonfat milk). The specification of the casein we are using is [Lactose: less than 0. 2%]. After the fermentation and purifying of the mixture, the remaining amount will be extremely low, so there is no risk for Lactose intolerance. For the casein-protein, we evaluated our product by the ELISA method using a casein-specific antibody and its concentration was found to be below 0.01%. In other words, our product is also safe for those with milk allergies.
